More than 200 performers, aged 27 and less, will compete in theVietnam-Laos-Cambodia Young Circus Talent Contest held at the VietnamCircus and Vaudeville School in Hanoi this year.
Six circus teams, including four from Vietnam, one from Laos and onefrom Cambodia, will bring to the competition 34 circus acts fromDecember 8-12.
The 2015 competition is expected to help strengthen solidarity and tiesbetween the three countries, head of the Department of Performing ArtsNguyen Dang Chuong said.
It also provides an opportunity for young performers in the region tolearn from each other for the development of the arts, he added.
Gold and silver medals will be presented to most outstanding individualsand groups of performers while the judges also pick out the bestdirector and the best coach.
