Indian film festival takes place in Vietnam for first time

The inaugural Indian Film Festival Vietnam (IFFV) will take place from December 12-23 in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh.

The festival will screen eight films made by 14 renowned Indian directors.

As part of the festival some Indian filmmakers will attend a seminar oncinema cooperation between the two countries and visit Vietnam’slandscapes in order to seek beautiful places for their films.

The festival will offer the Vietnam community an opportunity to learn about India’s culture and long history of filmmaking.

It is held by the Indian Embassy in Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
