According to the travel website, the largest city in central Vietnam is one for the more adventurous lover of tropical temperatures and palm-fringed sandy strands.
Once arrived, SkyScanner suggests that visitors should collapse on My Khe beach, or refuel in one of the many seafood restaurants that line Pham Van Dong Street and then get out of the city for a few days and explore Hoi An, a 45 minute taxi ride from Danang.
SkyScanner noted that Hoi An is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its food (the street food here is some of the best in Vietnam) and its custom made suits.
The website also asks visitors to try “cao lau” – a rice noodle dish.
“It’s the only place in Vietnam where these special noodles are made-apparently it’s something to do with the water they use, we’re not sure, but whatever it is they’re damn tasty!”, SkyScanner says.
Rounding on the list include Malaga and Ibiza of Spain, Algarve of Portugal, Pula of Croatia, Nice of France, Antalya of Turkey, Sharm el Sheikh of Egypt, Bali of Indonesia, and Orlando of the US.
