Famous Italian photographer begins journey through Vietnam by Vespa scooter

Famous Italian photographer Luca Bracali has begun his journey through Vietnam by a Vespa scooter as a part of the Planet Explorer initiated by himself.

Bracali has been to Iceland, South Africa, the US, Greece, Morocco and Norway before arriving in Vietnam.

For the reason on taking a journey through the country by a Vespa scooter, he said that he previously visited Vietnam and was impressed by the beauty and natural fertility of the country.

He added that his dream of exploring wild lands to take photos of ethnic minority people has come true.

“When I was a child, I dreamt of roaming by a Vespa scooter, a symbol of freedom, innocence and joie de vivre to explorers. The experience will be new and make me touched as I have travelled by different vehicles, including sleigh, balloon, car, motorcycle and even dog-sledge”, Bracali said.

He said that he will open a photo exhibition about the beauty of the land and people of Vietnam right after the journey ends.

In 2011, Bracali launched a project called Planet Explorer, creating a kind of media communication on the web with a live-tour told through photos and videos made by himself and his associates.

His authentic and lively reportage of his journeys through different countries has interested millions of people around the world.

Bracali is well known for photography, but is also a special explorer who has travelled to 136 countries in the past 25 years.
