VietNamNet Bridge – Three members of the legendary band landed at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport on July 25 afternoon on a flight of Vietnam Airlines. They were welcomed by many Vietnamese fans.
The band will perform tonight, at the National Convention Center, Hanoi.
They’ll perform some of their most popular hits, Silent Times, Sleeping Child, Call on Love, Romantic Balcony and Love Will Never Lie and their new songs.
Vietnamese singer Nhat Thuy and the band Oplus were chosen to perform before MLTR takes the stage. Nhat Thuy will sing three songs from her latest album, Wake Up.
MLTR performed in Vietnam for the first time in 1998. The Ha Noi show is a part of the band’s tour to celebrate 25 years of making music together.
In Vietnam, Michael Learns To Rock is likely the most well-known pop rock band. Not noisy and rush but still powerful and fierce; not too shiny and smooth but deep and vivid. It is MLTR’s music.
During 27 years of their music career, MLTR has released nine albums, a dreaming figure of many music bands. The tickets to MLTR worldwide concerts, particularly in Asia, have always been sold out with an average of 6000 attendants per concert.
