Ho Chi Minh City honours 16 meritorious artisans of intangible cultural heritage

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan said that by presenting the title People"s Artist and Meritorious Artisan aims to recognize and honour individuals with moral quality, talent and great dedication for the cause of protection and promotion of intangible cultural heritage of value to the city in particular and of the country in general.

He also hoped the 16 meritorious artisans would continue to contribute their talent and intelligence to preserving and promoting cultural value in the city./.
