Traveling in the low season has become a new trend as it does not only save one from high costs but from the crowd as well.

Vietjet has launched a new summer promotion to facilitate that new trend as it celebrates the opening of new routes from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Pleiku, Ho Chi Minh City to Seoul (South Korea), and Ho Chi Minh City to Yangon (Myanmar).

Cheap tickets from Vietjet have also allowed the company and others to reduce their domestic and foreign tours by 10-20 percent the past year, only to add more reasons for people to travel, the source said.
