Free entrance for visitors to Hoi An ancient town

In addition, the town also held the event to promote the image of culture and tourism of the town to Vietnamese and foreign tourists.

The town presented honourable guests to visit the two freely to 39 visitors, including 26 domestic and 13 foreign ones. On the occassion of lunar New Year 2015, the town also provided free entrance for vistors over three days.

According to statistics of Hoi An Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, in the first six month of 2015, the town welcomed 1.1 million visitors, increasing 15.25% in comparision with one in the same period. The number of visitors buying tickets to visit the town increase 18.04% and to Cu Lao Cham island increase 60% in comparision with those in the last year./.
