Toyota Classics Concert takes to the stage in Da Nang

The Toyota Classics Concert 2015 willtake place at the central city’s Trung Vuong Theatre on August 9, theevent’s organising committee has announced.

 

The concert, which will be under thebaton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, will feature Vietnamese songscomposed by Trong Bang, Duc Trinh, Thuan Yen and Nguyen Tai Tue, andperformed by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.

Solo violinist Bui Cong Duy will alsoperform scores by French composer Saint Saens and Russian composer P.I.Tchaikovsky, while saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan will play romantic songsby Vietnamese composers Trinh Cong Son and Doan Chuan-Tu Linh.

Tickets are available at the theatre, 86 Hung Vuong Street, Da Nang.

All proceeds from ticket sales will bedonated to the Toyota Vietnam Foundation to fund scholarships fortalented young musicians in schools across the country.
