UK artist to publish coloring book for adults in Vietnam

VietNamNet Bridge – HCMC-based Nha Nam Media and Publishing House has released the first coloring book for adults entitled “Vuong quoc muon loai” (Animal Kingdom) by UK author/artist Millie Marotta.

The bestselling book in the UK features drawings of nature, birds and plants in black and white. Readers are encouraged to paint these pieces to release stress and pressure in their urban daily life. The 96-page book has been released with 500,000 copies and being translated into 20 languages in the world.

Nha Nam will publish 5,000 copies in the first edition of the book which is translated by Trang Hai.

Millie Marotta is a hugely popular illustrator in England and was the former art teacher. She was born in a countryside of Wales. Her creations are inspired from wild nature.

The author told the Daily Mail in an interview in April that “My illustrations are a real labor of love, they take a long time and I think people really can and do appreciate that.”
