Youth gear up for Future Now – Rave in Color music festival

Budweiser Future Now – Rave In Color, a large EDM (electronic dance music) festival will take place on July 11 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in HCMC’s District 7, featuring performances of leading foreign and local DJs and singers.

Dutch DJ/producer Headhunterz.

One of the top DJs playing Hardstyle music in the world, Headhunterz (born Willem Rebergen) who is also a music producer from the Netherlands will join the event.

The 29-year-old artist has played at some international music festivals, including Qlimax, Defqon.1, Q-Base, inQontrol, Decibel and Hard Bass.

He started his own record label of HARDwithSTYLE in 2013 before signing a contract with North American electronic dance music label Ultra Music in 2015.

Hardstyle is a mixed influence of Hardtrance, Hardcore and Rave music genres.

It consists of a deep, hard-sounding kick drum, intense faded or reversed basslines accompanying the beat, a dissonant synth melody, and detuned and distorted sounds.

local youth after The Remix TV show, will also join the festival. Other talents sharing the stage with Tien are DJs Nimbia, SlimV, Popo Duong, ZonC, Looze Khuong, Thuan Hoang and Bnuts.

Future Now – Rave In Color is expected to wow the crowd by some colorful UV paint atomization and fire performances accompanied by visual and lighting effects.

It will take place at SECC, 799 Nguyen Van Linh Parkway in HCMC’s District 7.
