The three-day workshop beginning September 25 at Saigon International Film School will include instruction on filmmaking, including shooting, production, directing, budgeting, promotion and distribution.
The late American film director Orson Welles once said that “everything you need to know about filmmaking can be learned in only three days”. Simens exemplifies that philosophy.
Simens has taught many workshops around the world. In 1998, the US film school association recognised Simens as the country’s top film instructor.
For 30 years, he has worked diligently to bring affordable film education to the US.
