8 places to watch fireworks displays on Vietnam"s National Day

To celebrate the National Day’s 70th anniversary, fireworks displays will be organized at eight places around Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday night.

All the shows will take place at the same time, from 9 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Five of them will be held in the capital city, the celebration’s main venue. The locations are the Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, My Dinh Stadium, Nguyen Hoang Ton Garden and the Van Quan Lake.

Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City will host two of the shows at Dam Sen Park and the Saigon River Tunnel.

In the central city of Da Nang, the sole display will take place by the Han River, between Han and Thuan Phuoc Bridges.
